NIRC is dedicated to strengthening industry accountability and professional improvement. In addition to setting a high benchmark for our industry, our customers, insurers, the public, and regulators, NIRC gives the restoration industry a strong, united voice in dealing with the insurance industry and regulators, and a prominent voice in every community our members serve.

Like you, we are aware that insurance laws and insurance company policies can harm rather than help consumers. We know that insurance companies can limit or deny legitimate damage claims. NIRC fights for consumer rights, particularly when policy endorsements have been changed without clear explanation, when insurance liabilities are limited unreasonably, when consumers don’t get the claims coverage they deserve. We insist on rules and regulations from every level of government and from insurance providers that put property owners first.

We work to improve the industry too. You don’t have to be in our business long to realize that in some corners of the industry, things have been deteriorating. In our world, there is no place for contractors who bill insurance companies for work not done, particularly for those who collect customer checks and then skip town never to be heard from again. There is no place for shoddy workmanship, no place for the application of inferior materials. The NIRC mark of trust and the members who stand solidly behind it, are there to prevent abuse and raise standards throughout the storm restoration industry.

And the presence of NIRC members and the NIRC organization’s resources at major storm events and catastrophes, help all of our contractors and members stand out from the crowd. Assignment of Claim is a powerful new concept that can be used by NIRC contractors, so they have the tools to work effectively with insurance providers, so property owners get the claims coverage they deserve. All NIRC members pass an exam in order to use the Assignment of Claim system developed by NIRC.

How To Become a NIRC Member?

All NIRC Certified Contractor members must pass a thorough background screening and compliance check, both for the company and all the principals in the organization.

Once approved, “Welcome to NIRC” packages are delivered to your company. The welcome packages will include professionally designed branding and sales materials, national and local PR campaigns to build consumer awareness and trust in the NIRC, and online, offline and social media marketing campaigns, that will increase your exposure among qualified prospects looking for help with their insurance claim or restoration needs.

NIRCC Member Types:

Certified Members: Certified members are contractors who have passed the NIRC Certification process with Global Risk Management Solutions and have full access to all the NIRC services.

• Will have a NIRC Contractor Certification powered by Global Risk Management Solutions
• Will have a seat on the regional council and be a part of the future direction of the NIRC and have a voice in the council
• Will be supplied with the NIRC Certified Member logos and marketing materials
• Will have SEO marketing through the NIRC website and social media
• Will be provided with 4 free seats of the MaxCon Software to manage NIRC leads for customers requesting a NIRC certified member to help them with their insurance claim.
• 4 free hours of consultation with Childress Duffy on legal matters pertaining to insurance claims.
• The assignment of  license to use the NIRC Assignment of Claim with proper certifications.
• Will be listed as a Certified Member on the NIRC website and social media
• Will have access to the NIRC knowledge library and continued education programs
• Will be invited to all charitable events and NIRC Events

Cost for the certified contractor membership is $15,000 per year
Additional non-voting state registration $1,200 per year per additional state
Addition voting seat state registration $2,500 per year per additional state

 Supporting Members: Supporting members are contractors who believe in industry reform and would like to be a part of the movement for change and accountability through its financial support.

• Will not be listed as a certified member on the NIRC website and social media.
• Do not have a seat on the regional council and do not have voting rights
• Will be supplied with the NIRC supporting member logos and marketing materials
• Will have the ability to become a certified member within one year or when they have passed the NIRC Contractor Certification powered by Global Risk Management Solutions
• Will have access to the NIRC knowledge library and continued education programs
• Will be invited to all charitable events and NIRC Events

Cost for the supporting membership is $6,000 per year.

Advisory Members:  Advisory Members are industry professionals that include Manufacturers, Suppliers, Service Providers, Technology Providers, Law Firms and Public Adjusting Companies that are committed to the vision of the NIRC and want to support NIRC members’ success.

• Will be listed as an NIRC Advisory Member on Website and Social Media
• Will have a seat on the advisory council and be apart of the future direction of the NIRCC and have a voice in the council
• Will be supplied with the NIRC Advisory Member logos and marketing materials
• Will be invited to all charitable events and NIRC Events

Cost for the advisory membership is $25,000 per year
